Employees hired on or after January 1, 2013, who retire after January 1, 2023, are subject to the Years of Service policy at the time of retirement. The years of service chart applies to:
- Pre-65 retirees enrolled in a USG Healthcare plan
- Retirees 65 and older enrolled in a supplemental healthcare or pharmacy plan through Alight Retiree Health Solutions.

Your USG retiree healthcare benefit is an annual contribution to your Health Reimbursement Account (HRA). This HRA account is employer-funded by USG and can be used to reimburse yourself for eligible expenses you have paid out of pocket, such as Medicare Part B costs, as well as premiums for healthcare, prescription drug, vision, and dental coverage purchased through Alight Retiree Health Solutions.
